Relating to today’s discussions
We would like to provide an update on the conversations we have been having with you. Today, we met with rider representatives to further understand your feedback and your input.
We are taking action to address your concerns, the first of which is to ensure accidents and factors outside of your control do not affect your statistics. If you are involved in an accident, please contact Live Rider Support as you normally do. Please rest assured that your acceptance rate(s) will not be affected under such circumstances.
Secondly, we understand that long restaurant wait time is also a key reason for order rejections. We are committed to putting processes in place to bring down our restaurant partners’ prep time, and therefore reduce your wait times at the restaurants. In the meantime, In the meantime, please help report unacceptably long restaurant wait times using this form.
Finally, we want to reiterate that we are committed to discussing this with you and listening to the issues you raise. The suggestion that Deliveroo called the police on riders is untrue. This is not how we engage with riders.
